Consulting

Your move

The truth is when you hear the word consulting or consultants it can trigger a negative reaction more times than a positive one. There are of course good reasons for that based on personal experience. I would strongly suggest that you ask key questions of any so called consultant before you engage their services and they start telling you how they can help.

Ask them what their greatest success has been and greatest failure? What do they think needs to happen to make this type of business relationship work? What additional courses, classes, training, coaching or mentoring are they participating in and why? Do they have a formal process/program for helping you? Would they describe themselves as a specialist or more of a generalist? Based on their responses you can then decide if you believe they can help you.

Experience is a great asset, but only if you learn the lessons along the way.

A little thought and a little kindness are often worth more than a great deal of money

Time is more value than money as you can always get more money, but you cannot get more time

To give real service you must add something which cannot be bought or measured, and that is sincerity and integrity

Wealth is the ability to fully experience life

A bank is a place where they hand you an umbrella in fair weather and ask for it back when it begins to rain

We make a living by what we get, we make a life by what we give

We must let go of the life we planned, so as to accept the one that is waiting for us

Better to be a lion for a day, than a sheep all your life
